Prof. Valtchev

Prof. Valtchev is the leader of zeolite team at the Laboratory of Catalysis and Spectrochemistry (LCS), CNRS, France. He was elected the President of the International Zeolite Association from 2016 to 2019. He is also the leader of Zeolitic Materials Group in QIBEBT, CAS since 2019.

He has published more than 300 papers in scientific journals, includingNature, Science, Chem. Soc. Rev., Chem. Rev., JACS, Angew. Chem. Inter. Ed., Chem. Sci.,etc., with more than16000 times citations. A representative research work, i.e., Science, 2012, 33570, was selected as the scientific breakthrough of the year, and has attracted a number of major research projects, among others, by French National Science Foundation. He is the leader of more than 10 grant research projects with funding by EU and France. He is also the main inventor of more than 20 patents of the United States, Bulgaria, Europe and PCT.

Prof.Valtchev is the laureates of numerous international scientific awards for recognition of his contributions to the research of microporous materials. He was the first winner of Baron Axel Cronsted award presented by the European Federation of zeolite Associations (FEZA) in 2014. He was granted the Donald Breck Award of the International Zeolite Association in 2016, which is the highest honour award in the field.
